Acceptable Use Policy
Draft pending legal review — not yet legally binding.
This Acceptable Use Policy expands on the Acceptable Use section of the Terms and Conditions and applies to everyone who uses Telvory. This is an implementation-ready draft and not legal advice; a Saudi-qualified lawyer must review the final text before publication.
1. Purpose
Telvory is a remote-support platform that can view, control, and manage devices with authorization and consent. Because of this power, all use must be lawful, authorized, and respectful of the people receiving support.
2. Authorization and consent
You must only connect to a device you are authorized to access. For attended sessions, the End User must be informed and able to stop the session at any time. Technicians must obtain the required consent before controlling a device, transferring files, recording a session, escalating privileges, or using background tools. Unattended access requires documented authority to enroll and access each device.
3. Prohibited activities
You must not use the service to:
- access a device without proper authorization;
- deceive, pressure, or coerce any person into a remote support session;
- commit fraud, extortion, harassment, stalking, or unlawful surveillance;
- impersonate another person, organization, or support provider;
- bypass security controls or a tenant firewall policy by stealth;
- collect passwords, one-time codes, or payment details outside approved workflows;
- upload, run, or distribute malware or other harmful code;
- mine cryptocurrency or run unrelated workloads on supported devices;
- interfere with, overload, or probe the service or other tenants;
- infringe intellectual property or privacy rights;
- violate Saudi laws or any other applicable laws or regulations.
4. Security responsibilities
You must protect your credentials, enable MFA where required, keep agents up to date, and configure tenant session policies and permissions appropriately. Report suspected abuse or security incidents promptly.
5. Enforcement
We may investigate suspected violations and may suspend or restrict access where we reasonably suspect abuse, legal violation, security risk, or harm to users or the platform. Serious or repeated violations may result in termination and, where required, notification to authorities.
6. Reporting
Report abuse, security concerns, or suspected violations using the contact addresses published on the Telvory website.
